A catch would have meant a win. Also, 2008 Houston. A 5 yard out was dropped on the sideline that would have given us a first down and allowed us to run out the clock for the victory. I have waited for most if not all of the statute of limitations time and apparently we are not going to be awarded vicotries in those games or any others where we nay have dropped passes that should have been caught. So I think it us time to quit giving Tulsa the victory based on their missed connections.
How could I forget. We were sick to our stomachs on that play.
Also, was it 2008 or 2006 when Cougar High's Kevin Kolb completed that ridiculous 3rd and 19 at their 5 that led to a touchdown.
I totally agree with what you're saying. For too long, we were the team that didn't make the plays when it mattered to win games. And all of us came on this board grinding our teeth over that.
Now, we are. It's a great feeling.
All I was pointing out was the impressive part about the win was that we really didn't have opportunistic field position throughout the game, and we managed to find a way to get it done.
Says a lot about where the program is at -- regardless of how crappy some media pundits think CUSA is.
BTW, their acknowledgement of us negatively is actually a pretty good thing. When you're starting to win and beat their team in successive years, you have their attention.
