1. i realize he's a freshmen and the most difficult thing to learn is the blocking scheme for a RB in this offense. But I would like to see June utilize him a little more and put in some type of package for him. who cares if the defense knows its going to be a run, they still have to stop it. You know the run is coming with navy, air force, army, georgia tech, but its still effective no? Line is great, but we're using fields for kick off returns... thats it? really? I know coming into this season no one expected this type of season out of line, but in retrospect i would preferred Fields to redshirt.
2. Poll: what game will fields take one all the way? Houston's KO coverage looked terrible against rice....

I was thinking the same thing; would like to see him get some snaps; with Line being so effective this year, it's going to be hard to keep a stable of RBs happy

Fields needs more touches. One of the best athletes on the team.
I would like to see Padron take better care of the ball when the game is on the line.

I know they did not teach him to run with the ball in 1 hand at SL Carroll.

SMU's o-line weakness is it's interior, until Fields gets his blocking assignments down, Line is needed to keep Kyle out of the hospital. BEAT houston!

Don't let him block. Give him the ball. Play maker.

He would probably be very effective with the bubble pass play.
GO PONIES!!!

You need to watch him on the sidelines...He sure doesn't come across as a freshman, he was pumping his teammates up after we let them go ahead, and you can tell he wants to get out there and do some damage...
He had one kickoff return last night where he busted outside and switched to another gear no one on navy had, then ran over some poor Navy special teamer that changed his direction just enough to get him out of bounds...
Kid is a special player...
