Thoughts? Too-high/too-low/anything?

at least we're better than 57.
that's pretty close to our academic rating.

I wouldn't expect us to be ranked much higher than that, especially after the Navy loss. I think to get a Top 25 ranking, we will have to be CUSA champs at this point.

I think we're a mid 50's team, yes. We will end the season in the upper 40's.

Ahh - I miss the good old days when we were ranked in the 100's and appearing regularly in the bottom 10.

fair assesment. i thought we were better than that but I also thought we would be Navy. With that losss I think 50s is about right. I hope we finish strong in conference with a good showing at ECU and can move up.

Anderson ranking for SMU:
2007: 119 (last in D-IA since USC was removed from the ranking)
2008: 117 (used to be 118, but USC was removed from the ranking)
2009: 65
2010: 51

Big progression upwards.

Still feel we are not there yet. I think the low 60s is closer for now. We beat UH and then the mid 50s would seem right.

TTU is .500
UAB is 2-4
WSU is 1-6
TCU is 7-0 and screwed in the latest polls
Rice is 2-5
Tulsa is 4-3
Navy is 5-2

So we have beat one team with a winning record. The others are weak at best.

And we have not handled a decent out of conference schedule with decent to excellent teams well.

Go to Sagarin and look at the teams around us. Really 56 is about right.

I think mid 50s is about right......if we would've beaten Navy I think we would gotten some top 25 votes

Not that style matters when you are in the 50"s - but all of our losses have been pretty close games.
