Friends from college calling in October to make bowl game plans!
At first I thought we might be getting a bit ahead of ourselves, especially after a loss. But then I thought, well of course we'll be in a bowl game--also a thought I have never had before.
2 WINS AWAY!!!!! GO MUSTANGS!!!!!!

Yeah, at halftime of the Navy game one of my friends was talking about New Year's Eve in Memphis. I smiled and said, no can do. The next day at noon in Pittsburgh is the Caps/Penguins outdoor game (which I already have gotten tickets for). Nope, no flights from Memphis to Pittsburgh that arrive in time for face off.

Hockey...zzz
Bowl Season is the 2nd best time of the year behind March Madness. I am looking forward to going to the Ponies bowl game this year, as long as it's not in Hawaii.

Memphis would be great, although a lot colder than Hawaii.
Ford would be weird for a bowl game.

I really wish bowl season wasnt so long and it actually crescendoed to the national championship game...cuz it's sucked recently the way the games have been staggered.
need playoffs so badly to make it properly exciting....sigh
NHL is a lot like the NBA for me...i don't really start following closely until after xmas and new years.
Hopefully I'll be back in Chicago for Sharks/'Hawks in Dec....I have a 3 year streak going for game's in Dec and the 'Hawks are undefeated.

I'd like to do whatever it takes to go to the Hawaii Bowl every year. If that means throwing games, well so be it.

Hawaii woudl be a disapointment - we need to win our conference and that means Memphis.
hockey? That is a joke. Nobody in their right mind would miss college football for hockey - unless you were born in Canada - its not even a sport for Americans. That is embarrassing.
