Our defense has not been great, but it has been our offense again that is behind the curve. Our offense has been out of sorts most of the year. We are at game 8 but still have not clicked.

I doubt the offense will click before season's end, hopefully they can get by and win enough to take the division.

can't tell watching on TV, but either Padron is having trouble seeing the field or Houston has had great coverage all day. Padron holding the ball way too long

I thought the R&S always has someone open and is impossible to stop

It doesn't matter who's open if the QB can't get rid of the ball.

Won't I suppose, I mean Kyle could easily run to get yardage but he'd rather hold onto the ball and wait to get sacked. He needs a safety valve out of the backfield. I just don't know if we can run the R&S like it's supposed to be run with him back there.

Kyle has been told to stop running. Remember TCU and Washington State where he would take off and get leveled? The offense is not clicking because KP is struggling to find the open man. He is young, relax. When he gets into a rhythm the O-Line lets him get smacked which throws off his confidence. Some consistency on offense from the receivers and from the line will give KP a chance to grow. We also need a faster back. I am Zach's biggest fan, but the McNeal/Line combo that should be would have us winning games and would open up the Wide Outs for KP to get the ball to. That is what worked in Hawaii and that is what we have been missing all season.

The offense needs work, no doubt. Not sure what the solution is but we have to work with Kyle and get him to feel more comfortable back there as he looked off all day Sat. The only thing I remember from last year we did a lot more of was throwing to Shawnbrey out of the backfield as a safety valve.

I have not seen any swing passes at all this year. Maybe Zach Line is not the guy to handle that but I dont know that we have tried it yet. Having that check down might make Kyle feel more comfortable.

The O line is the problem because they can't hold a block for 1.5 hours?

I know a little about the O-Line.

My son was ranked in the top 25 of all tackles for the 2004 NFL Draft. I have watched a lot of game film. But in answer to your question, I never played a down of football even in high school. What about you are you an expert? If not I would still like you take on the funk were in.

On the offense there is room for improvement everywhere with the possible exception of RB. I think Kyle does miss the sure hands and route running of McNeal and Sanders. Al, although better than the last two years, still fails to catch too many balls that are thrown to him. The momentum on our first drive died when Al failed to catch the pass that would have put us around the 30. with a first. Then you have DJ and KP out of sync so many times which has hurt us. Haynes drops too many passes. The most consistent receiver is Cole. Then we have special teams that have been overall terrible this year. Kickoff returns against us have been gifts to the other team. Our punt returns have likewise been gifts far too often. The consistent failures of special teams tells me we have a coaching problem there. I got to believe that out of all the players we have we should be able to find some to plug those holes. Our defensive coaches have to be faster when we meet a no huddle team. I apologize for getting off the original topic. I guess I agree our offense is not clicking, but I don't put all the blame on Kyle. I do think the OL has played above it's ability and that is a tribute to the players and the coaching they are receiving.

The WR's are not exactly wide open.
