I'm sticking with 6-6, but only if we beat Tulane. I counted that one as a W

Well if we are going to a bowl, we need to win 3 of our 4 remaining games. Marshall at home after a bye week should be a win. East Carolina there ,the day after thanksgiving, will be very tough. That leaves Tulane and UTEP as must wins on the road. I see 6-6 with no bowl bid as a real possibility unless there is great improvement in all phases of the game quickly.

How do you figure? If we are bowl eligible, I don't see how we are not the CUSA rep for the Armed Forces bowl.

6-6 at Ford, kind of depressing.
I am going with 7-5. Moore gets healthy somehow and they beat Tulane, UTEP, and Marshall.

To be guaranteed one of the 6 conf. USA bowls, you really need 7 wins. Currently 4 teams have 5 wins (E.car, UCF, S. Miss, UTEP) and 3 teams have 4 wins (Houston, SMU, Tulsa). You are rolling the dice if you are banking on 6 wins to get a bowl win. If we do end up with a bunch of 6 win teams, then I agree we would be favored to get the AF Bowl.

There are 70 bowl slots, we have a bowl on our own homefield with a C-USA tie in. There has been talk for months about the NCAA possibly letting 5-7 teams into bowl games because there might not be enough bowl-eligible teams to fill the slots.

That is what I want to pay good money to see. Two 5-7 teams going head to head.

I don't want to see that garbage either (less bowls please) but it could happen.

Way too many bowls - so watered down. It was much more fun when bowls meant something.

yesterday's game was a "must win" for Houston...wasn't it just last week we were discussing whether they would win 6 games? Now the Tulane game becomes our "must win" if we are going to be bowl eligible again this year
