Let's Talk TulaneThe loss is behind us.
Tulane is a decent team. This will be a close game. Tulane Stats this week - Griffin 200+ yds, 2 TD's Darkwa / Williams - both had almost 100 yards rushing. Robottom - 150 yrds receiving / 2 TD's Luckily, it doesn't look like any of their players have returned any kickoffs for TD's. Re: Let's Talk to TulaneTulane is 1-2 at home. Could that help us?
They don't have anyone rushing for 100 yards per game, but the combination of Albert Williams (52.5) and Orleans Darkwa (47.8) is averaging 100.3 per game. Looks like Ryan Griffin is a pretty accurate: he's hitting 62.9 percent of his passes this year (although he has just seven touchdown passes in seven games). Griffin's favorite target is Casey Robottom, who has 48 receptions for 538 yards (11.2 per catch and 76.9 per game) and a team-high four receiving touchdowns. As a team, Tulane is being outscored by an average of 31.6-23. They're a little more than 2-1 in pass-run (yardage): 1,663-763. They're dead even on turnovers: 6 interceptions and 7 fumbles lost by their offense and their defense has 6 interceptions and has recovered 7 fumbles. Would help to get off to a fast start. Green Wave has been outscored, 52-28, in the first quarter, and 124-68 in the first half.
Re: Let's Talk TulaneThe opening drive has been a bad pattern lately.

Re: Let's Talk TulaneNew Orleans restaurants: please suggest other than the obvious - Mothers, Pat O's, Mandina's etc.
Looking forward to partying after the win -- Who is in for a great weekend?
Re: Let's Talk Tulane
Pelican Club on Exchanger Ave. Dickie Brennans Steakhouse - the House Filet is covered with flash fried oysters and hollandaise sauce. K-Pauls near Jackson Square. Of course there is always Commanders Palace, Galatoires, and Arnauds for the more upscale. Hard to beat any of those. Good luck and Go Ponies!

For all things meat (especially pig) I highly recommend Cochon on Tchoupitoulas. Was there in March for the St. Pat's parade, and everybody in my group of 20+ loved it. Also liked Tommy's Cuisine a little up the road from there. Both are in the Warehouse District.

The Louisiana Bistro on Dauphine. One of my favorites. Ask for the "Feed Me". Make reservations. http://www.louisianabistro.net/ Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.

Re: Let's Talk Tulaneanywhere you go in the quarter or warehouse district this weekend, reservations are a must and you may be too late. In the quarter, try NOLA's, Red Fish Grill , Mr. B's and GW Fins. In the warehouse district, try Emerils.
Re: Let's Talk TulanePascal's Manale is very good and is famous for inventing BBQ shrimp. I'll be eating there Friday night.
Maestero's Court of Two Sisters It's hard to go wrong in NOLA with food Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.
Potential is nothing, performance is everything.
