That might be a percentage of funds raised. If Turner raised "X" amount of dollars his employment contract probably states that he gets a certain % as a commission.

What is the $127K in benefits? Is that for housing and vehicles? What kind of benefit is he receiving that would cost that much?

my guess would be mortgage, taxes, vehicle(s), health insurance, membership at DAC, Brookhollow and/or Dallas National for starters

since one of the primary responsibilities of a university president is fund raising, I would suspect that Turner takes his wife on many of his trips on SMU's tab. so add this cost to the list. I am sure he probably gets a lot of taxable perks including the ones stated.

I wonder how his compensation compares with some of the other small private schools like Rice, Duke etc.

Someone needs to hook him up with a better tailor. That blue drab suit looks like he bought it at the outlet mall. Same place where I get mine. Now his right hand man has some serious style.

Nothing has stuck out to me about Brad Cheves' sense of style

Mestengo, you looked pretty sporty last Saturday dressed in your finest 'down-with-the-flu' garb. You may have been the only one not cold once the front blew in.
