Re: DMN Back-to-back losses have SMU searching for answerKATE SAYS, DON'T PANIC!!!!
With four games left in the regular season, the 4-4 Mustangs (3-1 Conference USA) are doing the same – to a certain extent. But in preparing for Tulane in New Orleans on Saturday, SMU is focusing on regrouping and improving, not recreating or panicking!
Re: DMN Back-to-back losses have SMU searching for answerGut check time. Let's hope they respond with an authoritative beatdown. I don't want to have to look back and say the turning point of the season was halftime against Navy...and we just went and turned the wrong way.

Re: DMN Back-to-back losses have SMU searching for answergoal is now 7-5 which may still get us the west championship since uofh will probably choke away a couple of games.

I want to say No but the reality is that we didnt look good against Houston but more importantly we dont control our own destiney as Houston has to lose a game for us to win the west (which very likely could happen). The lowest common denominator is we need to win games and a bowl is an acceptable result of the season as oppose to the alternative. Still holding out hope for CUSA West but lets see how the team comes out this weekend. ECU on the road is going to be really tough.
