I don't like our chances as much against ECU.

UTEP was a must-win game, so was Houston. I don't like our chances against Marshall or ECU, they're both more than capable of hanging 30 on us.

We come out flat like this...we won't beat anyone...

its like the decent looking girl you dated that you made feel like a princess...this team isn't that hot and they need someone to tell them...

Honestly, the way this team is playing, we don't deserve a bowl game bid even if we are lucky enough to get 1 more win. Why would any bowl extend an invite to a mediocre team that can't score more than 28 points (if they even get that lucky), and couldn't stop some bad offenses from marching down the field like a top 10 D1 offense? Unless we win both, I doubt we get a bid at just 6 wins.

Depends on how many total bowl-eligible teams there. There are 70 slots. I still feel we'll get a bid with 6 wins.

Big Hoss, we will go bowling at 6 wins, whether we deserve to or not. Just the nature of our conference this year.

That being said, if we don't beat Marshall, we should forfeit to ECU and not risk having any players hurt playing for 6 wins with a team that doesn't deserve the reward of playing in the postseason.

Forgot they added a couple more this year. Wow, yeah for us.

I almost don't want this product nationally televised for recruits to laugh at.

I hope you're kidding. After one bowl game in 26 seasons, I wouldn't want to be the one to tell the seniors "we're not trying to go to a bowl anymore."
Thankfully, forfeiting isn't an option.

With the bye week, wondering if Sterling Moore will be back for the Marshall game.

Well as long as we play in the Armed Forces Bowl our opponent should be manageable at least (probably BYU or Army). And we will have a month off to prepare (Nov 26th is final game, Armed Forced Bowl on Dec. 30).

We're entertaining people on the 20th. I'll see if I can make the game. But like the team and the coaching staff I'm not sure if my heart will be in it.

those were must win games to win CUSA, but that is highly unlikely (although I guess we are not mathematically eliminated yet) to happen. Marshall is clearly a must win, coming off a bye, getting them at Ford and needing that 6th win to become bowl eligible.

Yes, Marshall is a must win for bowl eligibility.
CUSA division title is irrelevant now. We've had two chances this year to control our own destiny this year and haven't.
Hopefully the team comes out ready to go on senior day.
