JJ would be wise to stop sticking so stubbornly to his beloved offense and change things up a bit like he did last year. We don't do anything to keep defenses off-balance. All they have to do is drop people back and wait for Kyle to [deleted] up.

SMU took a chance on me. I'll never turn my back on it.

True, but Zach is featured this year. I don't think Kyle is getting the job done. What the he'll are we gonna change if he can't make the pass?

Zach SHOULD be featured this year. He has been nothing short of sensational. Hope his leg is OK. Bye week couldn't come at a better time for him (and therefore for the offense).

I have not seen a 5 WR set since the Hawaii Bowl... I'm not an offensive genius by no means, but i'd figured we would avg more than 26.3 ppg w/ the Run-and-Shoot... A little disappointing... hopefully we win another game just to make a bowl...

Ok. It's not like the game hasn't passed by any of the "greatest" coaches in the past. I'd also ask you when JJ made it to the greatest level. Buoy have the talent you have. I don't think the players just go out and lay girds when they could do different. You could have the mother of all systems but it's worthless if you can't teach it or execute it. See: Monti Kiffen's beloved Tampa 2 defense which sucks at USC this year.

we've motioned the back out of the backfield to create five wide...which is the same thing we did on the 2nd play of the Hawaii Bowl

We could try more of what we did last year (HB screens, rolling Kyle out, shovel passes, less option routes, maybe some 5 wide on occasion, more running on 3rd and short). It just seems like we don't even try to fool the opposition or play practically at all.

I understand the disappointment...but June is worth the $2 million per/yr. Would you rather have Phil Bennett???

I'd rather 40 points a game, like his rep!

Ok. So is that fully on June? If so, what the he'll is going on? Kyle and the guys have to execute but the lack of discipline and indifference is coming from somewhere.

Actually no, on the second play of the Hawaii Bowl, Shawnbrey lined up in the slot, which is not the same thing...It is called a 5 WR set (See Photo Below)... I don't know if we have lined up in a 5 WR set this season, because we could have and I missed it... But from what I can remember watching this season I know we have not used that set, or we have rarely used it...

June doesnt overthrow wide open receivers or hang them up. June doesnt horsecollar, and June doesnt come out playing in slow motion.
June didnt botch the FG in the 2nd quarter vs Navy.
Whatever created the environment that led to all that stuff, well..hope it improves
