BORING>>>>BORING

Postby ponyscott » Sun Nov 07, 2010 12:37 am

What an UN-inspired effort...what the F$%^ is NOT going on with that weak Offense?...that is the worst offensive game plan and calls I have seen........there are plain getting out coached.
This is BS....Sachse JHS calls a better game plan and when in trouble ...change it up, for hecks sake....I bet the opposing coaches just go ...REALLY? That again? Draw play on 3rd and 18?

What's more frustrating? Watching our team a few years ago going 1-11 but knowing they were bad OR this season being 5-5 believing our team is capable of more?

Right. But that team just sucked, and I knew it going into the season. Maybe I thought they could have won a couple more than that, but we weren't good. This year, we have more talent on offense to steal a couple wins even with a defensive secondary that is atrocious.

But June is an offensive guru...don't talk defense, tell me why we only scored 14 against one of the worst defenses in the country? Remember this UTEP team has lost to powerhouses such as UAB, Tulane, and Marshall coming into this game.

So.. you saying UAB, Tulane, and Marshall (and UTEP) are better than us?

No, I'm not.

Basically, we sucked at 1-11. Frustrating, even though I knew we weren't going to be any good. This year, we are .500, but should be better, or so I thought. MORE frustrating than 1-11 scenario because of expectations being higher.

Exactly. And when we watched how we played against TCU...perfectly sane people were stating that we could run the rest of the table if we played like that. And we could have. But, obviously, we didn't. As late as TCU, high expectations were there. The team clearly is capable of playing at that level. But will we see it again? Eh...to be determined.
