So his own team can't spell his first name, but here's a note about McCann after Sunday's loss to Green Bay:

"Brian McCann made his NFL debut tonight as the team’s kickoff returner and as a reserve on defense. His first career kickoff return went for 29 yards in the second quarter, and he finished with an average of 27.8 yards-per-return."

I wonder if they also misspelled his name on the back of his helmet with that low rent, 1970's label maker tape they use?

it was too bad the inept coaching staff wasted all their time outs/challenges before his kick return that was called a fumble, b/c he was clearly down on the return w/ 2.:04 left in the first half.

Loved seeing Bryan out there. I loved seeing the Cowboys embarrassed on national TV even more.

The one good thing that BaD radio mentioned on the Ticket was that they thought McCann made some nice returns.

Lessee - SMU has recent former players now on the active roster of the Steelers, Saints & Cowboys (not to mention that one of them got a Super Bowl ring). Not too shabby.

Bryan McCann -- one of my all-time favorite SMU kids. Had a nice conversation with his family last year at the Rice game moments after he returned the blocked kick for a touchdown.
