If TCU can climb this high there is no doubt in my mind that we can equal their sucess if we decide to commit ourselves to this GOAL!

Listen, wether you are a fan of TCU or not ( and obviously none of us ARE, on this board), they serve as a major beacon of light for all the small private schools in major markets, that you CAN succeed and play big major state schools and actually kick [deleted]. That [deleted] kicking this weekend at Utah with 40,000 Utah crazy fans in black and hadn't lost in 27 (?) straight home games was very impressive to me. I don't and can't in all good conscience, normally root for TCU, but you know what? They are friggin doing it this year........ and good for them, and [deleted] off to that steroided Junior College wannna be, with a blue SMURF turf, Boise State.
I am in TCU's corner and am wearing purple every day, in their honor!!!!............NOT....
But I do wish them well.

I, for one, am a fan of the Frogs. I admire them for having the gumption to take a program at rock bottom, go out and hire a successful coach, Franchione and try to give him the tools to compete, which he did. They got a little lucky when they hired GP to replace Fran but their results speak for themselves. They are a template for SMU to emulate and without the example of TCU to follow I am not sure that the administration at SMU might not have deemphasized football even more than they did. They show us how it can be done and I am thankful for them. SMU and TCU have a long standing relationship and rivalry and thanks be for that also.

I have a close friend who graduated and played there and who coached SWC football and he is a fan of SMU except when they play the Frogs. I was his guest at the Fiesta Bowl last year and sat with around 20000 Frog fans and rooted for them. I believe the TCU team this year can play with anyone in the nation and that goes for Boise State also.

Go Frogs.........Just a word of warning, ut will have all of their blood hounds trying to find dirt on you guys. They no likey anyone that poses a threat to their in state standing..............

I hope TCU makes it to the moon, because I know it pisses off our boosters and at least some admin that they're doing it, but we can't. And that motivates them to make things happen, or at least it sure as hell better.
