Who should we pull for tonight, what would be best for the Stangs?

this may be a pretty good game.
a win keeps uab in the run to be bowl eligible, however slim it may be.
a win for ecu keeps their hope alive to win the east, i think.

You know what? I think I'll take ECU - UAB has 4 people in the stands again. That is such a shame.

It really doesn't matter... It would be best for SMU to win their last two games....period.

Of course we need to win our last 2 games regardless, but I wondered if E.C. came into

Ford without a chance for a bowl, then they might not have anything to play for, but

if they beat U.A.B. and need one more win for a bowl, then they would play us hard.

EC is an away game BTW and ECU will play SMU hard especially at their home, no matter what they are playing for.
Nothing matters unless the SMU O picks up the pace, otherwise we are outside looking in and we can't beat anyone, much less ECU or Marshall, who is playing better than SMU at this point. They will have won 3 games in a row coming into Ford and we have lost 4 out of 5, hardly Bowl material.
No 'sky is falling' stuff here, just reality.

Hell I think there is gonna be about 7 teams at 6-6. UCF will be about 9-2. Memphis 0-11. Really weak conference.

I want ECU to win, with Rice and Memphis left, UAB would be another 6-6 team competing for a CUSA bowl. I want Houston to lose out too.
