TCU on pace to lead nation in Total Defense for a third straight year which has never been done in the history of college football-or I guess since those record have been kept

Why isn't Patterson being courted by the NFL?

Defense is key. I still think our biggest prob is depth, but would be nice to have the June jones of defense as a dc.

Gary Patterson is not being courted by the NFL because if he treats an NFL guy the way he treats his college guys he'll get punched in the face.

Jimmy Johnson got away with it. Amazing similarities between GP and JJ. Maybe JJones ought to look West.

B/C he's going to be Colorado's next coach. duh.

Great College coaches do not translate into pro coaches. Period. It's completely different having to deal with a player who wants to learn from you to get to the next level vs. a grown man who is already at that level.

See. Nick Saban, Spurrier, Bobby Petrino(what a sack of [deleted] he is), Barry Switzer(he won with Jimmy's guys).
