the MAC. Frustrating. Build a program, June!! Leave a mark, a tradition...your replacement needs to enhance the 'Mo / Direction-Success...Life in C-USA holds little or no promise for ANYTHING cool, fun, inspirational, cutting-edge, _________. Sorry, I know less is redundant...BEAT SOMEBODY!!

Your spirit is inspiring. Be sure to send that out to recruits.
I don't want to think about Coach J's replacement for a long time.

Conference USA is a bad league right now. The caliber of football being played is poor. If SMU isn't playing, I really have no desire to watch other teams play. Houston-Tulsa this weekend? Meh...
This league just doesn't get my attention.
I would hope this is cyclical and the league will be stronger in future years. It just isn't right now.

CUSA is like watching arena football...no defense, very little rushing attack. just sling it around the field

I'd rather watch Indiana than UAB-Tulane. Yawn!

Really? Michigan 67 Illinois 65 sure didn't look like that.

No case can be made for CUSA this season. A couple of upsets here and there of BCS teams and a win by us over a sucky WSU team. The conference has some potential, but right now, its unrealized. UCF and the Texas teams are in great recruiting markets. ECU and USM have a great small town fan base. UAB struggles for relevancy in Alabama. Tulane, SMU and Rice all have academic issues to deal with. Tulsa seems to have a solid program, not great, but solid. They got one of the "upsets". We have some great cities in our conference. We need to focus our efforts at our non-conference schedules and wins. If we start beating BCS teams with some regularity, then conference wins and losses look acceptable. If we all get slaughtered OOC, then conference losses make each of us look weaker.
