11/18/10 injury updates

Contrary to reports published earlier this week, senior cornerback Sterling Moore is not yet cleared to play Saturday. Head coach June Jones said after Thursday's practice that Moore was cleared to practice this week, which he has (on a limited basis), but said that doctors will decide Saturday whether or not to "re-clear" Moore, based on whether Moore experiences any soreness and/or swelling in his knee over the next two days. Jones sounded hopeful, but said Moore's return to the lineup Saturday against Marshall is not yet guaranteed.
In addition, Jones said that senior punter/kicker Matt Szymanski is getting better, but is not yet 100 percent. Jones said he expects Szymanski will punt but likely will not serve as the team's placekicker, because of the different ways each motion affects the kicking leg. Field goals and extra points, which presumably would fall to Marcelo Sada.
