TCU should be extremely proud of what they accomplished this season. They received valuable national publicity that will benefit them for years to come. We should be so lucky.

But the mere fact that Las Vegas would place them as 10 point dogs for a home game against a non-BCS opponent tells me how truly undeserving they were of a BCS bowl game. They did not choke, but they are not Top 20 Talent either.

They are also being totally hypocritical about their reasons for not playing in the Liberty Bowl. It is a laughable excuse given the fact that they are now pursuing conference affiliation two time zones away from cowtown.

Happy Holidays to the Frogs. Smacking them after a two loss season smacks of jealousy not insight. Wish we had this Problem(?).

But, I'll feel sorry for them if their egos drive them to the MWC because they believe it is the path to BCS. That is sad because it won't happen and MWC is not a long term upgrade, much less a guaranteed benefit.

Anyway, congratulations on a great season! A loss to Boise State is hardly something to be ashamed of. :mellow:

TCU also had a great chance of winning seeing as a lot of Boise State's guys were out. 6 ineligible was it? then that guy got hurtthat was the QBs favorite target.
I do agree they had a great season. Even after their late season slump.
But lets justsay on September 11th,2004 Everything is gonna change again! Go Stangs beat those Frogs!

Hey Bozo, when I stated TCU "choked" I was not referring to one game last night.


It's called "choking" when you are ranked in the top ten in the country very late in the season and finish the season out of the top 20!

Would you, or would you not, say that choking for eleven consecutive games (that 0-11) for Mathematically deprived Ponies, is worse than choking by three to a No. 16 team? Figure it out, Texas Pony, adjust your panties, take some Metamucil, and have a great, great Christmas.

For the 10th time Geno it was 0-12. Give us credit where credit is due, or is that as high as they go in tcu math.

Myrdel, I keep saying 0-11 instead of 0-12 because reading this pony board, it seemed like SMU beat TCU in that game last month. At least all the gloating from a six point loss sounded like it. So make it 0-12 and admit you lost to the Frogs in that last game.

Geno, Geno, Geno, you make it so easy. If what you say is true, it is then 1-11 not 0-11. Please take your ignorance back to the purple board. Myrdle, it's not often an Arkansawyer gets mathematics right, but you certainly did...so up the SMU record to 1-11 this year, and that should make you feel a lot better. Happy NY!
