* Football team becomes bowl eligible

* Men's soccer moves on in the NCAA tournament by beating Creighton on PKs.

* Men's basketball shockingly wins two games in its own tournament. Should have won all three...but that's another story for another board.

* Women's basketball picks up its first win. They should be OK after two losses to two good teams in Utah and TCU.

* Volleyball sweeps Houston and Rice to improve its NCAA at-large berth chances (if they don't win CUSA regular season or the tournament).

On the alumni side, Bryan McCann of the Dallas Cowboys and Emmanuel Sanders of the Pittsburgh Steelers score TDs for the second consecutive week.

Nice to have a reason to smile. Let's keep it going.

You forgot that both of our NFL players also scored touchdowns this weekend, for the 2nd week in a row

Normally, I would be all goose bump excited but, I have to agree with George Smith Patton, Jr that ECU scares the Hades out of me. Pure panic once again sets in this week. I am so frightened that I am not sure I can enjoy my TG meal.
