Pretty sloppy game. I guess I'd rather watch UT win. A&M will be a VERY tough game next year.

A&M 17
UT 13

Cyrus Gray is really good...no Zach Line, but he's good.

A&M has a lot of talent, too bad Tannehill is just a junior. Fortunately we'll be returning 9 starters on offense and 8 on defense...and we've got a better coaching staff than UT

The team that has one of the top recruiting classes in the country every year, and more resources than anyone in America, will be sitting home for the holidays with a losing record. :P

Love the results. Gives us the opportunity next year to have potentially tow top 15 teams on our schedule. A real opportunity to make a statement after we win CUSA this year.

Many of us have always wanted a robust out of conference schedule and next year it looks like we will get it.

They should have scheduled some more "Sisters of the Poor" schools on their schedule. I bet they will still be ranked top 20 in next year's preseason poll. Maybe we can get some of their fringe fans who want to pull for another Texas team in a bowl game.

I've been a Texas fan long before I had even heard of SMU - growing up out West it was a matter of exposure. It doesn't change the fact that I would root like heck for us to beat UT (we get that chance in women's hoops I believe).

So you'll forgive me when I say that I'm sick about what happened this year. But it shows that youre not going to be great every year. Just have to move on.

I really understand how the anti-UT people feel. But I wasn't around all this stuff until I arrived on campus in Aug. of 1987 - well after the fact.

But know that SMU always comes first.

I will be inviting all my UT fans/friends to our bandwagon this year to watch a real team in Texas play football. The holiday season will be a slow one for them...

Stallion must be bummed his favorite team lost yesterday. HOw could Texas lose with all their great recruiting classes - maybe coaching; no he tells us that doesn't make a difference only recruiting. A losing season could not have happened to a more deserving team. I feel so bad for Mack Brown and that he is losing so much sleep over this season. Poor guy.

No, his team is TCU. He must have every google alert, rival/scout, and daily email possible on them.

Other than McCoy and Shipley, did they lose much else? Does Texas stick with Gilbert? They could have their pick of the litter of any of the top QB's in the nation. Even as a true sophomore - His mechanics stink - throws off his back foot all the time. The OL needs an overhaul too, they were getting worked.

Mack Clown said this week before the game that Texas could still have a winning season. Really, at 6-6? I guess he meant with a bowl win, but who counts bowls to be a season win?

Mack has shown how classless he is this year by throwing his players and coaches under the bus as the losses mounted. He has said that he felt that the team has a sense of entitlement. Really? Isn't it Mack who feels that Texas should show up and win because they are Texas.
