Padron STRUGGLING

Consistently missing wide open receivers and reads. It's beginning to make our offense very predictable, relying on Line for 1st and 2nd down...last thing you want to do to help a pitiful ECU defense.

Wouldn't be surprised to see McDermott in the 2nd half.

He stepped up when it mattered. Hopefully we'll see more consistency down the road.

Did not have a great game but did not turn the ball over and made enough plays to win. Also what heart playing with a gimpy ankle Kyle is my hero.....Pony UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kyle had a GREAT second half. Struggled in the first half missing so many wide open receivers, and sailing everything. Tough kid the way he played with the ankle injury. Great game.

Even with the crappy plays this was an all-time performance from him. Right up there with the Hawaii Bowl.

Absolutely. Gutsy second half performance and actually seemed to settle down after getting injured. Great leader.

Most idiotic post I've read in a while. You don't pull out your QB that's led you all year, has nearly 30 TD passes, and well over 3000 yards to go to your backup in a game that means as much as this one did.

If it had been BLM instead of Kyle, we would be somewhere in the vicinity of 3 - 9 this season

Yep with 25 TDs and 25 picks (3 of them returned for TDs).

Only 3 returned for TD's?? Probably would have been more.

Btw, who pulls out the starter in the second half of the last game of the regular season that determines whether they play for the Conference Championship...this isn't a video game people you just don't do that.

In the past I have been critical, very critical of Kyle but even with all the terrible throws the majority or his game was SOLID. Over the summer I believe he will somehow... get the adjustment on his passing motion to enable him to feel the short pass better and maybe work off some of the wind up.

Maybe YOU could work with him on some of the finer points.

Absolutely spot on. This kid is a Warrior. Compare him to fellow soph Gilbert at Texas - - Padron would excel at Texas because he is a winner who does not fall apart when he makes a mistake. Just picks himself up and gets ready for the next play. Mustangs fortunate to have Padron.
