...seeing as how, like with Hawaii last year, I went all in and booked my flight to Orlando lest the fare increase

Does anyone know - if UCF loses, and we are both 6-2 in conference, do they still host due to better overall record? or is there another tie breaker? (and same would go if UCF lost, Southern Miss wins -- would it be in MS then with a better overall?)

from an old C-usa site, I see that the determination of who gets home field is:
1. Conference Record
2. Head to Head
3. BCS rankings (which i assume would be in line with overall record?)

Yes - funny the CBS College channel after the Tulsa-USM game showed SMU had an 8-3 record (5-2 conference) while winning the C-USA West today. Someone screwed up b/c that's UCF's current record. Wish we'd had that kind of record going into today - just a couple of poor plays going the other way earlier in the season and we would have been.
