CUSA Championship Game Details

UCF hosts at 11am on Saturday. Weird the TV is TBD, either ESPN or ESPN2. I wonder how that will be decided?

It's a shame since the game is so early that CUSA couldn't work out a deal with either ABC or CBS (the parent channels of our rights holders) to be on one of the two for more exposure. CBS has college basketball and ABC has Football, so CBS would be the only realistic option I guess. That would really suck if we are relegated to ESPN2.

The game has always been on ESPN or ESPN2. Any other channel request is a pipe dream.

ESPN or ESPN2 would seem to be excellent venues for promoting the upcoming 30 for 30 "Pony Excess" during the game.

have to get this one over with before the Auburn/SC game kicks off. CUSA doesn't have enough fans to compete for viewers

Better to be on ESPN2 than ESPNU. I would guess that everyone who has ESPN also has ESPN2. I'm sure ESPNU is on a lot more systems now than it was a couple of years ago, but still not as many as ESPN2.

"ESPN or ESPN2" confuses me as well, what is coming into play to determine which channel it goes on and why have they not made the decision yet?

Here's my question: will we sell out our allotment for tickets/if I wanted to get one how would I go about doing that?

Oh crap...we're the early morning game on ESPN or ESPN2...whoever the announcers are will make Bob Davies look like Keith Jackson. If we have to suffer through Pam "Morning" Ward or whoever the JV lineup is that ESPN runs out for the pathetic middling Big 10 game each week, that's just a shame. All the more reason to go to the game if we as a fan base will be subjected to the verbal abuse some claim to be sports commentating.

it will be on national TV and some football junkies who could care less about CUSA will be watching; that's a good thing no matter who the announcers are

can't spoil this experience

I would like to see our athletic department make some "Beat UCF" yard signs for this one that promote our participation in the conference championship game.
