9) June Jones' SMU program is probably not going to reach the heights that he did at Hawaii, but the Ponies are going to be solid as long as he is there. SMU has some recruiting disadvantages, but Jones might be the best Xs and Os coach in college football. The Ponies aren't likely to beat Central Florida for the C-USA title, but getting there is a big deal for a program that has been down for a long time.

Sorry, I just can't imagine we have more disadvantages than Hawai'i did/does when it comes to recruiting. Call me stupid.

I don't agree with that statement, but I can't blame him for that.

It takes more than just a good team to get to 12-0 and in a BCS bowl. Boise State is a good example of that. You need a little bit of luck and some help. Tulane went undefeated and got, like, a 6-5 BYU team against them in the Liberty Bowl.

Take it for what it was worth: a compliment to the best 'X's and O's' coach in the game.

Here's hopin' the lei he brought with him brings some good luck.

And no. There is no test.
