Man you kinda have to feel for Boise. They are unquestionably now the big dog among the non AQs but its looking like their going to be left out of the BCS cartel (at least for now).

that's because the AQs have some academic standards they require as well. Boise academics are very subpar.

we don't really have a beef w/ them tho, they've really done us a bigger favor than we ever ask for by giving non-AQ's some real respect.

Agreed, but that "gaining respect" thing doesn't just fall on their shoulders...gain enough respect and you get invited to join the club.

Sub par compared to?
Miss state
Lsu
Bama
Ky
Oreg state
Okla state
Penn St (orig a hard sell to b10)
Iowa St
K state
Wash St
Fla St
Wva
Not exactly top 50
Things change. When I graduated hs all u needed to get into Okla St was a birth certificate. You needed a drivers license for OU. Neither is a true powerhouse in academics despite ous natl merits...they give full rides to ANY jr who is a nmerit semi finalist on the sat's
Tcu is 107
ATM is in the 80s
