Not sure why my earlier message posted 3 times. As for "winning will cure the problem" - when is that going to start happening? Nothing in the last 4 or 5 years makes it look like SMU will be winning anytime soon. Hopefully, the administration will one day be committed to SMU competing in Div 1 football.

Hey, PonySnob. Do you do anything to help the situation, or do you just come on to complain and whine?
I am surprised at some of the bowls not doing well, except the Rose Bowl, the "Granddaddy of them all." They got their dream match. Great game, won in the typical fashion of some poor big 10 team coming out to Cali, only to get spanked. Having grown up in LA, I love the Rose. Second was the old format for the Cotton.
