Auburn Rumors

This informatiom is making its round in Alabama and the SEC. I take no credit for its accuracy or content....but, for those of us that were around in the 80's, we may have finally found a program to exceed our own violations. Unfortunately, the consensus is they won't get the SMU death penalty.

Read this with a very critical eye, but it makes for interesting speculation.

Note: Thanks to expony 18 who provided the link below, I have deleted the matterial that had been forwarded to me very poorly edited. If you are interested in the growing recruiting/bank/gambling scandal in the great state of Alabama and Auburn University it is a very interesting read.

Does it really matter? The NCAA hasn't shown an appetite to rein in the big boys. Can't imagine the NCAA all of a sudden deciding that integrity is an integral component of its mission. just because AU bought a few players.

SMU should go ahead and fill its schedule now that UAB will be on the death penalty in 2013 and 2014.

Sorry for the condition of the article(s), but this is just as I recieved it, I didn't dare try to patch it together or edit it. It obviously is the combined work of several raving Alabama fans!

the NCAA is incapable of wading through all of this in less than 4 years.

look how long it took for USC to get sanctioned.

Wow..read the article...esp the part on players waffling or switching commitment late...then watch skip bayless and what he says in the pony excess trailer, replacing 'smu' with auburn

i have a lot of trouble taking skip bayless seriously as anything other than a heavily subjective person.
