So, are we talking Adidas's answer to the Nike Pro Combat unis, or are these going to be Plain Jane black unis like Tech and the other spare schools that wear black?

I for one am not down with black unis for SMU, but I at least hope they are jazzed up in some way like the Nike uniforms and not just plain black. If it makes some athletic kid out there take notice, I'll be more on board.

I know the black jerseys are inevitable, but it would seem weird to pull them out if we play Georgia. We would be wearing their colors - red and black.

SMU's all-white (jersey, pants, helmet) uniform is the best in college sports and should not be messed with. Runner-up: SMU's blue jersey.

A black jersey is not an SMU color (then again, neither is white, and I love those, and SMU has called for a "white out" at some games).

But I'm with SMU 86. I will support the team, no matter what.
