I booked at the Hilton Memphis for 322 for two nights..airfare always sucks to Memphis. Same issues I've had with other non-American hubs like Cinci and Minneapolis. It's destinations like this that were made for points.
Not sure how much Southwest is to the great homestate of the distinguished mrydel, but I think Little Rock is only about 135 miles from Memphis

Just booked airfare and the Hilton too.
Come on Mustangs - Play all 4 quarters and I'll see you in Memphis.
Thank you very much.
Can I buy you a banana and peanut butter sandwich?

Usually it is $59 one way from Dallas to Little Rock and then a 2 hour drive to Memphis. Might be a little higher with holiday fares.
BTW, those that flew to Little Rock got a room and rent car to drive to Jonesboro for the Arkie State game, this would be almost the exact same trip. Just depends on if you want to come back to LR after the game or get your room in Memphis to enjoy Beale Street.

Booked a room at the Hilton for $125 per night on line. Think I will drive to Memphis. Only about 420 and all Interstate. About 6.5 hours. I do not want to drop $800 for airfare for my wife and I.

My guess is that we'll do the same. Can't see spending that much for a flight when the drive really isn't all that bad,

If anyone needs to stop and rest for a while, Casa de Rydel is not far from the interstate. Make your reservations and food and drink requests and your needs will be fulfilled. I will then caravan with you to the game.
