No, he went down in the 2nd. I'd bet everything his knee-cap popped again.

No, I believe he left late in the 2nd quarter due to a knee injury. Thomas replaced him and was immediately picked on.

I keep hear about Moore being an NFL prospect. That cardboard knee ain't gonna hold up in that league.

June said it (of course he is reputed for his hyperbole) but yeah I can't see Sterling lasting long in the NFL with a bum knee. He might not even get a look.

I thought the issue with a knee-cap popping was fixable with surgery? He was just holding off on the operation until after the season?

I think it can be fixed surgically. Question is how he will recover from that speed and mobility wise.

Felt bad for Sterling when he went down again.
No NFL team will touch him with all the injury problems he has had, but he definitely has the respect of SMU fans for his toughness and willingness to compete.

Yeah calm down..Moore is playing on a bad knee cap situation and wanted to give it up for SMU this his senior year, knowing that he will have corrective surgery AFTER the season. That is corrective surgery folks...he could have it during this season but wanted to help his team mates by toughing it out. He will be fine and will be a good NFL professional.
That kid is very courageous, a GREAT Mustang and should be lauded here.

he is totally lauded by me, but I dont happen to agree that we will play in the NFL.

Its odd how much better this team is when he is on the field - ill go as far as to say when he was healthy we won, when he was not, (or out), we lost. He was that important to us this year.

He is a stud. But a 5-10 corner with average speed and a bum knee will not be drafted or signed.
