TEAM NOTES & HIGHLIGHTS

SMU finishes as the runner-up in Conference USA after playing in its first C-USA Championship game.

SMU will be in a bowl for the second straight year after winning the 2009 Sheraton Hawaii Bowl 45-10 over Nevada. This marks the first consecutive bowl trips for the program since 1983 (Sun Bowl) and 1984 (Aloha Bowl).

SMU won its second straight C-USA Western Division Championship, but was in its first championship game. SMU tied with Houston in 2009, but did not advance to the Championship game due to the head-to-head tiebreaker.

SMU has 11 conference titles with the most recent being the 1984 Southwest Conference Co-Championship

SMU had 4 sacks, which marks the fourth time this season SMU had at least 4 sacks

Aldrick Robinson now has 1225 yards receiving yards this season, which is 2nd at SMU. He is the only Mustang to have two 1000-yard seasons (1047 in 2009). Cole Beasley now has 1036 yards, which is 6th at SMU. This marks the first time SMU has had two 1000-yard receivers in the same season.

Aldrick Robinson extends SMU season records with 13 TD receptions and seven consecutive games with a TD catch. He has a TD in 10 of 13 games this year.

Kyle Padron extends his SMU records with 3526 yards passing, 29 TD passes and 33 TDs responsible for (29 pass, 4 run) and sets the SMU record for total offense with 3780 yards this year

Zach Line now has 1391 yards for the season, which is 3rd at SMU.

Cole Beasley (WR)
- Had 60 receiving yards; now has 1895 career receiving yards, which is 9th at SMU
- Has 1036 yards for the season, which is 6th at SMU. He is the 5th SMU player with a 1000-yard season.
- Had 5 receptions; now has 166 career receptions, which is 6th at SMU; has 84 catches for the season, which is 2nd at SMU

Darryl Fields (KR) - Had 46 kickoff return yards and now has 799 for the season, which is 5th at SMU. That also ranks 11th for a career at SMU.

Zach Line (RB) - Had 94 rushing yards and now has 1391 yards for the season, which is 3rd at SMU

Kyle Padron (QB)
- Responsible for 1 TDs (passing) and now has 33 TDs (29 pass, 4 rush) for the season, which is the SMU record; Now has 45 TDs for his career, which ties for 5th at SMU
- Had 1 TD passes; he now has 39 for his career, which is 3rd at SMU; now has 29 for the season, which is the SMU record
- Had 220 passing yards and now has 5448 for his career; that is 5th at SMU; has 3526 for the season, which is the record at SMU
- Had 18 completions and now has 414 for his career; that ranks 6th at SMU; has 279 for the season, that moves him into 2nd at SMU
- Had 223 yards of total offense and now has 5744 for his career, that ranks 5th at SMU; has 3780 for the season, that sets the record at SMU

Aldrick Robinson (WR)

- With 6 points, he now has 174 for his career; that is 10th at SMU
