College Game Day Final is an Embarrassment

Just finished watching the DVR Recordings of the Big-12 Championship game between OU and Nebraska and thought I'd watch the College Game Day Final that followed!

What a bunch of cartel kiss @sses!

They are so incompetent they are still using the Bennett Dark Blue Pony Helmet prop as representing SMU! :oops:

After oohing and ahhing over Cam, Auburn, Oregon et. al.

Telling us we are all going to get our wish and watch TCU get rolled by Wisconsin.

They finish the fiasco by describing the C-USA Championship game...

The 01% was described as "PTI" in mocking reference to the ESPN show by the same name:

"PADRON THE INTERCEPTION"

What SMU highlight play would you have wanted them to show?

They only had time to show 4-5 plays and Central Florida made the 4-5 best plays of the game.

ESPN believed the game was irrelevant, otherwise why would they only spend 30 seconds on the game during their 2 hour pregame show. I am sure that no one who was not involved in the production actually saw the game. CUSA is a non AQ conference and that means it is irrelevant to the "experts" on their game day shows.

Easily much more of a story had SMU won the game. As it was, everyone expected UCF to win, and, sadly for us, they did, so it instantly became a non-story.

well, at least now we're [deleted] about ESPN not having enough coverage (at least we're getting some), and not the DMN. there was quite a bit this weekend in the paper.

success sucks, huh.

I think maybe WE need to send them a new helmet. I cannot blame them for using what they have been given.
