Next years schedule

Seems like with our schedule, we might get around the same record next year unless we steal a few tough road games.

What will our schedule look like against the East next year? @UCF or @So Miss or @Memphis or @UAB? I don't know how the scheduling works.

Tough games:
@A&M - on the rise and winning
@TCU - Dalton is gone, winnable?
Navy
@Tulsa
@Houston
@UAB?

Possible Wins:
Tulane
Rice
UTEP
OOC opponent - I forget the Div 2 school we selected?

northwestern st .

We better get some depth especially on d. That first game will be hot and grueling in a hostile environment. Cyrus Gray could have a big day if we don't have fresh bodies running in and out

I expect us to better our record, that is what programs building towards success do. We'll have every O-Lineman, every D-Lineman, our starting RB and starting QB back and all of them will be upperclassmen. Go out, sign a couple JUCO corners and build some depth, and go 9-3 because that's the next step and that's what we're going to need to do.

Here are our 2011 opponents

Home

Northwestern State
Navy
UCF
UTEP
Tulane
Rice

Away

Texas A&M
Memphis
TCU
Southern Miss
Houston
Tulsa

You're right it's going to be tough just to finish with the same record we did this season. If Baylor hadn't dropped us we seriously could have been looking at a 2011 season with no bowl. Kyle's accuracy has to improve (65-70 percent), gotta find a new deep threat, need to get Wilkerson back, and absolutely have to find 2 useful JUCO corners (no Bennie Thomas' please).

will need to win at least 5 home games and hope to steal 2 road wins; any better than that will show this team has really improved; we have to feel good about having the entire OL and DL returning and will have more depth next year, too

Thanks.
On what I know now - 6-6 or 7-5. Should win Memphis. The other away games are all possible losses. The next year we'll have to be solid for this program to get where it needs to.

Any road game in this league is winnable.

I like the road schedule. There's at least three games there that I should definitely go to (A&M, TCU, Houston) and one that is possible (Tulsa) considering I almost chose to go there for undergrad before switching to SMU at the last moment.
