Got a call from a student-athlete tonight just thanking us for supporting the Mustang Club and saying happy holidays. Wife loved it...what a great thing for those kids to be doing.

I too got a call. Thanked them for a great FB season and told them to do well in the bowl game.

We got a call while picking out a Christmas tree. I couldn't answer the phone, so listened to the message. What a great touch. My mom, who is 76 and an SMU alum, loved it.

I got TWO calls last night! One from a member of the SMU Men's Swimming & Diving team, the other from a member of the SMU Soccer team! Thanked both athletes for being on The Hilltop and representing SMU! Of course, my wife wonders why she - the SMU alum - didn't get the phone call instead of me!
