We have basically gone from, "I wish they would freakin' quit referencing the "DP" EVERYTIME they mention SMU...Man, that was 25++ years ago, move on!..When I meet people in my social / business circles, the first thing they mention is the DP and play for pay, I am SICK of it etc., etc., etc" TO "We are having a Pony Excess watching party at Wainwright Wellington IV house, yiiippeee!!" The debate contiunes, the board is FULL again of all things DP with everyone having some cool little inside knowledge of a payment, A$M's wrongdoings, he said she said, Ken Pye is a [deleted], etc., etc.,etc...So, is it now chic to talk DP? or, are most of you ding dongs simply dipping your lithium pills in the onion dip these days??!? The DP is who we are, part of our collective DNA, big ole tattoo on our [deleted]. Beat Army!!

What I do when someone finds out I am an SMU alum and they start into the DP, I simply look at them and say "That was another SMU."

I am NOT saying "quit with the DP"..I am saying QUIT [deleted] about it one minute, and then "celebrate" it the next...deal with it. Not sure which big Pharma co. got the 'Vard contract?

Living here in Atlanta, the SEC blanket is rather thick and heavy..I chuckle at all the Cam talk from the non AU schools, like "Bama...please!! MSU under Sherill, "Bama under everyone, Florida with Pell and others, LSU and Dale Brown, Ole [deleted] with the recruitment of Malsouli, etc., etc...no one is removed from this, we just were the highest ranked when it came to arrogance and lack of control....but, at the end of the day, it is a HUGE part of our story / journey. BEAT Army!

Good one BIGHORSE. My favorite is "SMU died for your sins!" I always like Dickerson's comeback, why doesn't anyone want to know what A$M offered me? Those usually put an end of the that line of conversation.

One Trick, haven't you noticed there hasn't been any entertainment until the last two years and even then, it's been a lot of nail biting. Pass the lithium please, but for other reasons.
