Armed Forces Bowl T-Shirts

Postby Bergermeister » Sat Dec 11, 2010 2:59 pm

The AFB website has official bowl t-shirts ($20) and caps. Both look sharp and the t-shirt touts the bowl game being played in DALLAS. The SMU Bookstore t-shirt (right by the front door) has one of lesser quality @ $21.98 on which the design designates fort worth as the bowl game location. Talk amongst yourselves.

HOW THE HECK DOES THIS HAPPEN?

Not to mention this was on the Bookstore's website before last year's bowl game:

So I'm guessing the Army helmet pictured on the shirt indicates they're busting out the special camo jerseys?! Those are awesome.

This is the same bookstore that didn't get any decent SMU soccer merchandise in this season - even though the team went to the final 8. What do you expect...

Do they realize how much money they could make if they tried?

Just go to the SMU bookstore and it is the only thing in the championship "section".

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.

I don't know any differently, but I'd be surprised.

I think they probably put the camo helmets on there because they are unique to Army, whereas there are 8734987238473209781233901284097219038712098 teams with gold helmets

Great point! LOL!
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
