Army QB went 11 for 20 for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns.
I was really hoping if they're going to roll out that goofy triple option offense, running would be ALL they would do.

Re: So Army DOES throw the ball? They are last in the NCAA in passing YPG.
Re: So Army DOES throw the ball?Right, but I was under the impression they wouldn't even put the ball up in the air.
Re: So Army DOES throw the ball?Kinda have to when you are behind the whole game I guess.
Re: So Army DOES throw the ball?Well, there is that.
Good point.
Re: So Army DOES throw the ball?Passing is an important part of our offense. It obviously is not our main weapon.
As for passing being required when we're down, we attempted 6 passes vs Hawai'i despite falling behind 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter. Scored 4 straight TDs to lead 28-21 about midway through the 4th quarter. We threw 10 or more passes in 4 of our 6 wins this year and in 4 of our 6 losses this year.
