So Army DOES throw the ball?

Army QB went 11 for 20 for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns.

I was really hoping if they're going to roll out that goofy triple option offense, running would be ALL they would do.

They are last in the NCAA in passing YPG.

Right, but I was under the impression they wouldn't even put the ball up in the air.

Passing is an important part of our offense. It obviously is not our main weapon.

As for passing being required when we're down, we attempted 6 passes vs Hawai'i despite falling behind 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter. Scored 4 straight TDs to lead 28-21 about midway through the 4th quarter.

We threw 10 or more passes in 4 of our 6 wins this year and in 4 of our 6 losses this year.
