I'm strangely excited about that Central Florida/Georgia tilt.

On bowl mania last night on ESPN, SMU was the only CUSA team picked to win. And a confidence level of 22 (out of 35). The #35 most confident pick, Hawaii over Tulsa.

I feel good about our chances. Overall we have better team speed. We have better athletes and we have a more diverse offense.

Army will play hard as did Navy.

However, in the Army-Navy game. Army didn't look very disciplined (too many stupid penalties. Don't know if that will continue but It is a lack of discipline instilled by the coaches and a plus for us.

Get ahead of this team early and end the dominating running attack. FOrce them to pass which is an advnture to say the least.

Thats really odd to say an Army team as being NOT disciplined...isn't that what they are all about?

LOL. We're tied for 8th least penalized team in the nation with 4.58 per game.

The key to the game is turnovers. We are bad and they are good. In other areas we should be fine.

Well I have to poke fun here. Being in the Air Force and deployed to a location with plenty of Army guys running around, I can confirm that, yes, the Army is less disciplined.

Even better, my Step brother is a fast burner in the Army and played as a DB at West Point so I wish I could be there during the holidays to talk trash during the game when we win!

Cheers,
Jetnfast

Sure dodn't show against Navy. Stupid offsides penatly (not once but twice in the same drive) cost Army big time.

We need to practice that hard count, for whenever we have 3rd or 4th and 1 and go under center.
:D
