Thanks Thad for making it ok...

I am honestly amazed and fascinated at what has been discussed on here in the past week. I had read Payroll to Meet, I had heard stories from various alums and people at SMU during the 80's, but I still felt it was something we all didnt really talk about. There were rumors and a few little stories, but for the most part, unless we were involved in it, we didn't really know all that much about it. Maybe people were afraid to talk about it, thinking that more details would only surface and make things worse or somehow SMU would get in trouble again for the sins of the 80's.
Thad's movie was like a bandaid we were able to tear off all at once. It hurt to watch, and I cringed at some parts thinking "man, it really was THAT bad". But now that its all out in the open, I feel like we can finally acknowledge some things and discuss it. Any ponyfan (or any fan at another school for that matter) can now watch Pony Excess and know plenty about the situation and discuss it with others. It was definitely the past, and I realize many of you just want to move past this, but I know I am not the only one when I say that I'm still curious about how a lot of this went down.
RednBlue11, you mentioned something similar to what I've said in another thread. So to Thad, I say thank you for making it ok to finally talk about this.
