I donâ€™t care for Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame or Alabamaâ€™s uniforms. But there is something reassuring that they don't change.

I know the idea is to have hot uniforms that impress potential recruits (and not, alas us old goats) but some since of style would help.

Ahhh...they are true to their colors after all. The belt, socks and shoelaces are purple. :roll:

frog nation isn't too happy about it either from what i've heard & read. they're starting to sound like a bunch of mustang fans.

Expect more purple than you see in that uniform when TCU takes the field Jan 1.

I assume you are referring to the fans in the stands. The Frog Nation will be making a good showing at the Rose Bowl. Congratulations.

When it will be worn: The Rose Bowl, New Year's Day, against Wisconsin -- maybe. Although this uniform was unveiled on Tuesday, Uni Watch is now hearing from reliable sources that it probably will not be worn, and that TCU will most likely wear purple, not black.

Uni Watch says: Doesn't really matter either way, since the Horned Frogs are pretty much the ugliest team in the nation no matter what they wear.

Too bad TCU can't wear a traditional uniform in college football's most tradition rich bowl. ALL of those Nike pro combat unis are brutal.
