227 yards is not likely, but certainly possible. How amazing would that be?

Zach is the #9 running back in the nation in total yards and #18 in yards per attempt.

Let's hope ZL breaks off a few 70 yard runs on December 30th. It'd be wild for ZL to break ED's record when we run the Run n' Shoot. I know ED gave up carries with CJ, but man what an accomplishment it would be for Zach.

take his avg yards per carry and multiply it by the # of carries he and CJ had and there you go..good place to start anyway. Anywhere from 85-100% of that number

Zach Line is a nice running back and I wish him all the luck in the world but there is no way he is anywhere close to ED. Dickerson got his record in 10-11 games and only playing a little more than half the downs.

he also faced stacked 9 man defenses-where Zach Line gets most of his yards from finesse plays designed to take advantage of a spread out defense covering 4 wide.

While agreeing with those last two posts, it does not matter. Should we take away Dickerson's NFL single season record because he played in 2 more games than O.J.?
It is what it is and I think most people, including Zach Line would know the whole story, but the record would be Line's.
