I've got a question for Thad, and rather than PM, i'll ask here b/c i think more people may order if they know our fellow ponyfan stands to benefit from it

Thad, do you receive a percentage of the sales on the DVD? or does it go to the producers & ESPN?

I would have chipped in and helped you buy the DVD so you could watch it. I don't remember the soundtrack, but I am sure you will enjoy the CD too.

The "CD" might be nice background music for Christmas dinner! XD

You need to learn how to just live with an old man's blabbering. I might have just as easily said 8mm, or 8 track tape, or hifi, or talkie movie. But, since you offered, you can send me money if you wish. :D

I think Thad answered this a few weeks ago, saying he doesn't get a dime from the DVD sales.

I just ordered mine as a christmas gift to my dad - $10 is a great deal.

It will go up to $18 after the pre-order period is over.

Yeah. I think you are supposed to designate a player to whom you wish the extra $8.00 to be sent.

Pretty easy equation, I get ESPN's platform to attempt to earn the fame, and along the way to earning the fame ESPN gets the fortune. And if have earned that hoped for fame, then maybe I can strike out for the fortune.

DVD does have some tasty bonus features. Tons of extended interviews, a cut scene, and three condensed games.

is the cut scene the one filmed at the Marina Pub with you, HB Pony Dad, Bobby Collins, Sherwood, and a couple of bottles of Jamey? Or a different one?

Thad, with as much that could have been added but not due to time constraints, I think you need to go to work now on a mini series based on the whole scandal. Sell it to someone like TBS, or maybe ESPN would run it. Promos could go like "Based on the ESPN blockbuster 30 for 30 Pony Excess, comes an epic story of greed in sports that bares all the dirty secrets of college recruiting. Starring Mark Rydel as the manly coach who by his wiles and charm could convince young mothers to send their sons to his school." Something like that should work.
