JUst give me a september that has 2 wins and 2 loses and i am fine. 1-3 at the worst. We should play better in the WAC next year. I mean we have to. WE went winless its our time.

Thats what Ill be thinkin at the end of September!
Hopefully itll be 2-2 but I wont be upset if its 3-1/4-0! lol I swear we better not go 1-3 or 0-4 in September!

San Jose whipped us last year with a ton of JUCO's on their roster. They won't be any worse this year. My guess is 1-3 would be acceptable. 2-2 would be phenominal, anything more would be considered shocking.

Aren't we trying to replace the OSU game with a home game against an assumed patsy? If that is the case then we better be at least 1-3. A win against SJSU might be possible, but.......well, this is SMU we are talking about. Even if we are supposed to win, we seem to find a way to lose.
Sorry, just read the other post about not being able to move the OSU game...it will be 0-4, Tech might be competitive but only if we do nothing but run the ball and the clock, OSU...well, not unless their entire team happens to suddenly disappear like Mr. Burns' ringers in that Simpsons softball episode, TCU....maybe, but it is there, and we will be coming off what will probably be a demoralizing loss to OSU, SJSU, well see above.....I am changing my prediction to 0-4.

0-4 is our likely record in September. Anything, repeat anything, better than that will be a gain and cause for celebration. If the new coaches are to make an immediate impact on the team, then we will see a September win.

tt - very unlikely, but at least we get em at home
tcu - at their place? Not this year I think we get them in 05
sds - our only shot imo
after that I would guess we get some better mo

I think 1-3 is the best we can hope for. The other three games will be against top 35 caliber teams. We are a long way from that.

We also said that we wouldnt have a chance againist TCU this year...Um...*thinks*...We better beat those damn Frogs this coming year!
