Hoping this gets back to Thad and HB. Was at a place called A's tonight which used to be known as The Arches. 80 year old steak, fish and martini place where Bogart and John Wayne used to be regulars. Wayne's converted steamship paddleboat was half a mile up the road. Super awesome Old Hollywood place recently freshened up. Worth noting this is the heart of USC country.

Overheard a table of ten guys behind me at the bar talking about Pony Excess and how great it was. Eavesdropped on them and gathered there were a few USC alumni who came to agreement that Kiffin "needs to do it like June Jones" and keep it clean and rebuild. I introduced myself and turned out one was an SMU alumni who talked about getting the chills watching the movie and that he sent in a donation after hearing Dickerson talk about being committed to the university. I told them the director has been known to tie one on with his Trojan Sponser in Orange County. So thank you again Thad. It was REALLY cool to hear a bunch of Trojans saying complimentary hings about another Methodist University and extra cool to hear that your film specifically motivated an alumni to get vested in the school again. Good stuff.
