I hope it happens. It would be a good thing to get 22 more schools a way in. I also think its a good thing from the standpoint of stabilizing CUSA West. This will save the schools a lot on travel cost.

A guaranteed BCS bid is better than nothing, but it would only be a band aid on the much bigger issue of why major college football refuses to name a champion based on a playoff tournament format. I will always contend that the tv money would flow like wine if there is a three week/16 team single elimination tournament. Forget the polls and the computers. Let the conferences send their best representative to the tournament and let the chips fall where they may.

15 bowls could participate in the playoffs and the other bowls could invite the leftovers.

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
