Posted: Thu Dec 23, 2010 1:25 pmI hope it happens. It would be a good thing to get 22 more schools a way in. I also think its a good thing from the standpoint of stabilizing CUSA West. This will save the schools a lot on travel cost.

Posted: Thu Dec 23, 2010 3:23 pmA guaranteed BCS bid is better than nothing, but it would only be a band aid on the much bigger issue of why major college football refuses to name a champion based on a playoff tournament format. I will always contend that the tv money would flow like wine if there is a three week/16 team single elimination tournament. Forget the polls and the computers. Let the conferences send their best representative to the tournament and let the chips fall where they may.
