I could not agree more — he has developed from a somewhat wide-eyed freshman who seemed a little surprised last year that people wanted his opinion on things to a poised, relaxed guy who seems to be embracing his role with the team, on and off the field.
I particularly liked how he deflected the question about two bowls in two years, saying instead that the success the team now enjoys started with the guys who played before him. Kyle not only is growing in his still-young football career, but he is showing an understanding of the history of SMU that many juniors and seniors have not always displayed. If SMU would sell jerseys with different numbers, I'd buy a #2 jersey in a heartbeat.
These video interviews are sensational. It's obvious you guys put actual thought into this stuff and understand what it is the coaches expect of the players. Your interviews are so good ... keep 'em coming.
