DMN BOWL COVERAGE

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Sat Dec 25, 2010 9:35 pm

Less than five days until SMU plays in the AFB, and still not a single story on the game. Kate went to practice all week, and did interviews, and not even a mention in the college briefs section. Major thumbs down to the DMN!

well, they do have a lot to report about UT not going to a bowl and needing a lot of new coaches.

I thought we had gotten past all the whining.

There was a bowl story when they had the coaches' press event.

It's not like it's a major bowl game. And it's not like we haven't been bowling before. I bet we see something Monday. If not, then Tuesday. Big deal.

There probably wouldn't be any story that would tell me something that I didn't already know. So thats not the point, I want SMU to get as much publicity and create as much awareness and interest as possible. Get a clue.

I guess the DMN has decided to only participate in the "black out". :)

The Arkansas papers, on the other hand, have large articles every day on the Razorbacks and coverage of their up-coming bowl appearance on january 4th. DMN lack of coverage of SMU is shameful.

The DMN finally had a small story today, four days before the local team plays in a local bowl. It was mixed in with two more stories on TCU, Tulsa, two stories on Baylor and Texas Tech.
